part of the legend of the soft drink Dr Pepper was its cheery taste and smell.

the smell went thru the digestive system and was apparent in the urine, a reminder of having drunk it.

in a pubilc toilet you often smelled DR pepper in areas where it was popular.

now this seems to have changed, I recently had some, tasted the same but no smell

is nothing sacred!!

    • Out in Texas somewhere is the original, or one of the orignal, Dr. Pepper bottlers, where they still make and bottle Dr. Pepper per the original formula - they even use real cane sugar, not that High Fructose Corn Syrup that is bad stuff. You can do an internet search for it. They will mail order it. I have never tasted it, but a few weeks ago I just happened to come across the web site when I was doing some research for a trip I was taking out that way.
