I don't know exactly how to feel about this problem. About one or two days out of each month, I will have interrupted sleep maybe 5 to 6 times a night to pee. When I have to go its urgent. Is this a kidney problem, or sleep disorder of sorts? (Maybe both?) It is not persistent, like I said, seems like a pattern. I'm thinking hormone changes? Anyone else have similar problems?

Thanks for any advice!

    • Hmmm...this is an interesting situation. I'm glad to hear that it doesn't happen every night. If it's urgent, maybe it's an infection? But if there's no burning, then it probably isn't. I used to get up every day in the middle of the night. I finally found out what my problem was - it was that I was going to sleep too early and not sleeping very deeply. Your situation sounds more of a sleeping disorder...but it's funny how it happens only a couple times a month. I hope things go better!

    • Do you have fibroids? Sometimes they can press on the bladder(like if your pregnant) and wake you up to go to the bathroom. I dont think they would do that as much as 5 times a night though.

    • Hello, It could be diabetes, too much sugar, too much caffine, too much alcohol before bed, or exercising too close to bed time.
